Well women,
Where was everyone? No Pro Points because only 4 stayed on the tee sheet. But the 4 of us that were crazy enough to come out and play had a beautiful day. And, hey, what could go wrong with only playing the back nine??? Nothing except for the 10 minute delay on 11 for the grounds guys to remove large oak branches from the cart path. Robin W., Lisa L., Kathi K. and I walked over the small bridge with clubs to play while the guys chain sawed and removed the blockage. I put two in the cat tails so walked back and watched 5 guys stand and wait while one guy wielded the very dull chain saw. By the time R, L and K finished and walked back the cart path was clear. Yay! Semi- smooth sailing til 15 which was still covered in snow - hole closed. Oops they need to make the signs bigger! Icy conditions on the cart path between 16 to 17. Eek! I need more practice in icy condition cart driving. But we survived. More branches down on the way to 18 but cleared by the time we arrived. Cart path only on 18 is god awful ,,,thank you Lisa for moving the cart while I plodded my way up the middle of the fairway. What a day! A fun adventure on the course. And the weather warm enough that we were down to one or two layers by the end.
See what ya'll missed!
Spring Guest Day* coming up on March 30. Sign-ups open next Thursday (March 9).
Play Fast, Be Fair and Have Fun,Trisha, Queen of bad cart driving
*Heads up. Guest day costs this year will include a guest greens fee. Details soon.
