Good Morning All,Really- it's raining again. But it wasn't yesterday so we had a good day for Pro Points. 22 ladies out getting their exercise (I am too through with CART PATH only golf). As usual some odd ball occurrences on the course. In my group, me, Lisa L. and DeeDee O., started on 17- good hole, no problems. 18, on the other hand, was where problems started. Lisa teed off and her ball hit the big yellow rock on the right of the fairway. We all heard it hit but we could not follow where the ball ricocheted. Searched for it -never found it. If you come across a white Calloway with blue dots return it to Lisa so she can find out where it was hiding. Haha. That penalty stroke cost her a tie for first. Oh my. There were some 4 putt holes and balls in the water. And my group all got 5-2's on 11. Really. Nice to see Mary G out with us. And four birdies made- 3 of them not on the par 3's. Becky Saxby chip-inned (probably not a word) a birdie on 18 from 80 yards out!!! and both Lisa's birdies were on par 4's. So, all and all, a fun day (in spite of the many and varied golf goofs).
