Good Morning Winchestarians,
It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood for a day on the links. Auto 2 putt is a fun game cuz you've got to use different strategies.
Strategy #1 GET THE BALL ON THE GREEN! Didn't matter how far from the hole you were because, remember, it was an automatic 2 putt. Didn't matter if you missed your first attempt at a one putt - remember auto 2 putts!.
Strategy #2 "Don't leave that first putt short!". The old "never up, never in" was really the catch phrase of the day. Sadly, it took some of us lots of holes to figure that one out.
So fun game, which was preceded by an excellent rules quiz from Shelley (and NCGA) lead by Matt. Thank you, Matt and Shelley. Those were some tough questions. If you want to test your rules knowledge the quiz will be in this month's newsletter.
