Good Morning Winchester,
Nice day out today here in beautiful Winchester. I hope Thursday wasn't too brutal weather-wise here but I guess it was as it was a really small group out for Pro Points. I missed the action because I was down in El Cerrito playing at the Berkeley CC (formerly Mira Vista) in a balmy 85 degrees. Small group but lots of the usual weird stuff happened.... the twosome of the aforementioned small group took off before Josh had a chance to give his spiel so got into play not knowing playing conditions (playing the ball down? or lift, clean and place?) Texts back and forth... yay agreements made. Then more texts by LL and ND on hole three to find out CP holes. Oops it was hole 2-but no worries as neither had hit the green. Then the rope on the AD drive hole (#3 this month) was strangely diagonally laid across the fairway. AD winner Lisa said she hit her drive, the ball took a couple of bounces, caught the rope and literally ran along the rope for a number of feet before coming to rest against it. Well okay. Yay for Captain LL! But unfortunately, she was back to her usual when she lost the card off for second place.
Josh apologizes for the results delay.... It worked for me though as I just got home this morning.
