Good Morning Witches,
Oh you Witches of Winchester, you outdid yourselves yesterday, 13 teams, 52 players and a great day, sunny but on the cool side and the course in great condition. Then there were all the costumes and cart decor, just top notch! The potluck was fab, soups of all kinds, a variety of salads and desserts... what can I say but it was all fabulouso. Whadda group. My favorite costumes were the Flintstones, Fred and Wilma and Barney and Betty, by Team Arroyo, Neighbour, Oslund and Toohey, You all looked great but you, Terri, were a classic perfect Wilma!
Oh yeah, and then there was golf. So my team's witch ball stories started on hole 4 (we started on hole 16 and still had our orange witch ball, a first for me) our witch teed up and put one in the junk just in front and to the left of the tee box. Found. So re-teed. Second one in the same junk -eek, but also found. Reteed and third one in as well- double eek. FOUND again! Fourth one in the fairway. YAY! But two shots later that gol' dang ball was in the creek. BUT found, woohoo. And at last our witch got that ball in the hole for a 15. Second witch ball drama on hole 12 where our witch four putted from inside a foot. And we came in fourth in flight two because we didn't lose that WITCH BALL. Whata' day
Many thanks to all the labor -Tari B and Dorcas for organizing the food and kitchen minions and Deb McGrath, even from Covidland, getting all those amazing decorations organized and up. Thank you also to our HOA's Tammy, who helped with all the set up +. And as always thank you Josh and Matt.

*These teams plus team Hallisey, C Williams, Weiser and Webb and team Killer, Macktinger, Young and Kline and returned with their witch ball and team Belme, Bruce, Locati, and Reilly came back with a found witch ball. (I should to number them next year so we know whose ball was found!)**And lastly, my apologies to Leslie Williams who put the ball 6 inches from the pin on hole #7. I forgot I needed prizes for closest to the pin and only had three glasses left... so I eliminated the hole 7 contest. 🙄😩 One attachment • Scanned by Gmail
