WOWGG: WHO ARE WE ?
The association shall be known as Women of Winchester Golf Group (WOWGG), a member club of the unified NCGA (Northern California Golf Association), WGANC (Women’s Golf Association of Northern CA) and PWGA (Pacific Women’s Golf Association). WOWGG shall operate in partnership with the WCC Management and Golf Staff.
Our purpose is to promote the game of golf for recreation and fellowship. We conduct tournaments within the group and cooperate with other groups in furthering tournament competition.
Membership Any woman member, female spouse, or female spousal equivalent of a member entitled to the privileges of a golf membership of Winchester Country Club, who is 18 years or older, is eligible for membership in WOWGG.
The amount of annual dues (currently $100) are set by the WOWGG Executive Board. Dues are due and payable on January 1. New members will be required to pay dues as follows:
January 1-June 30: Full DuesJuly 1-Sept 30: One half DuesOctober 1-December 31: One Fourth Dues
New members may select one of the following memberships:
1. Non-Handicap member: Non-handicap members may participate in non-handicap events and all of our non-golf events including the Holiday luncheon. Players in this category are restricted from handicapped events. 2. Member of the NCGA: Member of NCGA for the purpose of maintaining a handicap and allows play in all WCC and NCGA events, including WGANC Legacy events and WGANC Open Days. Most of our members belong to NCGA. There is a yearly fee of $85 for this.
