Women of Winchester11:09 AM (1 minute ago)to Women
Good Morning All,
What a fun day we all had yesterday at the Past Captain's Tournament. Thank you to all the past captains that came out to helm a team:Nancy Hampton 03 and 04Cheryl DeWildt 05Tracey Prim 11, 17 and 18 Sabrina Horat 12Mindy Hatt 15Gill Brown 16 and 21Maggie Anderson 19Elizabeth Belme 20Trisha Ruthnick 22Lisa Locati 23 and 24Plus past captain Carole Davis 07 joined us for lunch at the HOA. Lunch, which got rave reviews, was catered by Ali Taggert of The Local Cafe. (Make you own taco salad with chips, salsa and LOTS of guacamole).Thank you, Ali. And thank you Pam Dolk for getting captain Lisa hooked up with Ali and for all the festive table decorations.
Thanks also to Josh for getting this all put together. He does apologize for the lack of a putting mark on the green of hole #15. Fortunately, most teams went with the lack and either hit to the green or picked somewhere reasonable to putt from. Also, big surprise to me the putting circle on #18 was not in the front of the green but up around the blue pin. Ooops!
And once again three of the top four place teams rolled the die on hole #12. Two teams rolled a 1 and one rolled a 3. I guess we all should have taken a chance on the dice! Here's the results:1st Team Prim, Meyer, Oslund and Dolk 45.32nd Team Hampton, Sweeting, Bertozzi and L. Williams 45.63rd Team Locati, C. Williams, Sly, McGrath and Bailey 47.34th Team Brown, Hwang, Erkel and Canale 48.1Team Horat, and Belme, Broderick and Weiser 48.45Team Ruthnick, Scott, Saxby and Sims, Peterson 50.6Team Hatt, Shaffer, Heinrich, Corrigan 50.7Team DeWildt, Webb, Hallisey and Graves 54.7Team Anderson, Willem, Owen and Ozuna-Richards 56
Thank you all for coming out to play. T. Q. ,Trisha
P.S. Nice to see you Meyung - it's been a minute.
