Yay, it is spring! Beautiful day for golf yesterday and it was fun. But it is amazing how much trouble one can get your partner into. Whooboy only hitting every other shot but still trees were hit sand traps hit and hit again, putts made and putts missed. Elevens made on hole 13 ... eek LW and MA, tough hole, and two balls in different penalty areas on 17 by the same player. Double eek as that was my partner! Whata day. Kathy H. renamed the game Alternate Rescue which was very appropriate. No closest to the pin or birdie money just game winners. And here they are:1st $12 each Team Ruthnick and Webb 772nd $10 each Team Hwang and Locati 833rd $8 each team Anderson and L. Williams 85Congrats to all - we survived!
The Past Captain's Tournament is May 16th. Fun tournament so sign-up individually by Monday May 13!! As in previous years we will be playing a modified four-person scramble. Foursomes will be determined by handicaps, to make the teams as even as possible, and will include a past captain, if available. Remember there are Past Captain’s “perks or twists” that make each hole a little different and fun of course. LUNCH WILL BE AT THE HOA catered by Ali of The Local Cafe. $25/person collected at the door.
