Hello Ladies!!! Only wish yesterday would have had today’s weather!! We had a beautiful, crisp winter day in Winchester today. It was great! Yesterday was cold, wet, somewhat dark and pretty squishy! I sank into the ground on two fairways. But, that did not stop two teams. I salute the ladies that finished. Two of the three teams persevered and finished the day! My team did not. At the turn, we cried “uncle” and went into the Pub, had lunch and Irish Coffees (and I don’t even drink coffee!). We had a great day with donations for the Colfax Girls Golf team as well. I encourage all of our WOWGG members to consider supporting our Colfax Girls Team!! Let’s support young golfers!! You can drop your donation off at the Pro Shop in an envelope, or let us know that you would like to donate and we can work through the logistics! If paying with a check, make the check out to WOWGG and designate your donation to the Colfax Girls Team and we will make sure it gets to them. Yesterday, we raised a total of $670 for the team. GO COLFAX!!! Sweeps were designated to the team as well, so our winning team was rewarded with some “ceremonial” “prizettes”!!! The team of Webb, Belme, Decker and Ramirez were the winners, while the team of Weiser, Willliams, Ruthnick and McGrath were a close 2nd!! The team of Locati, Ozuna-R, Reilly, and Saxby won a great location in the pub and enjoyed lunch!!
On another note...I had a typo on our flyer for Guest Day. SIGN UPS start TOMORROW—February 10th!! Check-out ForeTees!! (Not January 10th!)
